Sketching Pleasure...

These days I am in no mood to lift a pencil...I wonder why?? Am I getting spoiled by having a computer? :P Maybe that's what it exactly is. All the time you wanna do something...you always type it somewhere. It give you the ease of not having to erase something then go back and retrieve it if you wanted it back again.

Although for drawing...it's not the same case with me. I don't really have a graphic pad...and even if I did, I don't know what the result will be from that. I like the pen and pencil approach to it for now. But it's just that I have to get into the mood to do anything. Why can't I just start anytime anywhere... It's not something I hate doing!! Getting started (for me) has always been a problem... But once I get started, I can get going.

Anyway...since I had decided long ago to at least draw once a year if not more!!!....here's one as a result...
Plus I kinda have a witness...so can't really back out right? :P (Ya Right!!)

So the "all famous" question....Maybe I am slowly improving? :P Ah well...whether I am or not...it's something I still enjoy. It is kind of refreshing!! Like drinking coke when you have been craving for it for so long...

Andrew Gurung said...: The same implies to me as well. It was years since I last had my solo painting exhibition in my high school. After that, I hardly drew a couple of water paintings. It was just a month ago that one of my fren tagged me as an artist on his facebook pic. So, the artist within me got activated and I completed a portrait of my fren within a week. She was quite impressed to see my sketch. :P. I personally feel that computers is the main reason for our artistic side to decline. Best wishes for ur next sketch. Hope to see it on ur blog.
