Tired...

I am so tired...so so... very tired!!

Is it the lack of sleep?...I wonder...

It surely is way... past my bedtime and yet I am not asleep!!!...considering I haven't slept the previous days. Insomnia has caught me again it seems.

The candle light has been burning all night long...giving off its spring time aroma in the dead of cold winter. The flickering of the light can capture one's attention at times with it's play on the effects of the shadows. With the perfect music...it's almost like watching the opera!!

As the night passed on...the waning illumination from the dying flicker of the candle created an eerie feel to the room. The spring time aroma suddenly seem to have dissipated into the darkness...perfect for the tragic ending to the story!!

A Helping Hand of a Friend

You offer me your shoulders to lean on,
When the strength on my legs give out.
With a reassuring smile you stand on by,
To be the strength when I am in doubt.

You offer your ears with undue patience,
When I pour out all my worries and woes.
With a box full of tissues in your hands,
Your kind words keep me up on my toes.

You offer me a place...a place to cry onto,
When I fall apart right before your eyes.
With a comforting hug, you hold on tight
To help let go of myself with no more lies.

You offer a safe haven out of the shadows,
When fear keeps shrouding me to no end.
With recognition of suffering on my face,
You extend out a helping hand of a friend.

Gillette Castle

So who is this Gillette? Well he's the actor who played Sherlock Holmes!!

He seems to have loved custom made stuff... All the furnishings inside the castle are hand carved and the mechanisms for all the doors, windows, etc. seems to have been intricately designed to be operated with ease and minimum effort. He loved trains....so all switches mimicked switches in the old style trains. Here are some few pictures of his fantastic home...

Gravity of a Single Tear

A tiny tear drop escaped slowly,
the last of those dried up eyes…
Within it…was immense sadness,
and its weight...one could not bear.

In slow motion...it dragged on,
as if imprisoned within a bubble…
Slowly disseminating emotions,
those...so long being held back.

Down its path...it evaporated,
diffusing the once inflicted pain…
Soaked up it was...on its way,
lessening the imposed burden.

A sigh of relief in those tired eyes,
eyes that once held such a tear…
A tear that kept still…the burdens,
sadness that it once shielded.

Interesting Article ...

So I was bored to death with a serious headache.... Thought about watching some movie and came up with a movie called 'Via Darjeeling'. Okay... yeah it's a movie about buncha people telling stories and repeating over and over!! OH GAWD!!!!! My head is about to EXPLODE! So then I starting browsing through igoogle...and this one title caught my eye instantly!! "How Death by Cubicle Works' :D Of course I wasn't gonna read the whole thing :P I just found the first two paragraphs funny....as it is soo true!!

It's an interesting read...so I thought I share it with everyone/someone/noone/anyone!! :D

When the aliens come down from outer space to colonize Earth and imprison all humans, they might be surprised and confused by how humans live their lives. Day after day, we wake up at ungodly hours and put ourselves through long and dangerous commutes, all to sit in a death trap for upwards of eight or nine hours. And what is this death trap? Why, it's the innocuous-looking cubicle, home to about 40 million working North Americans [source: Newsham]. And all of them face death each and every day to do their jobs.

Another one bites the dust.

Maybe you think death is too strong of a word; after all, the typical cubicle dweller doesn't do anything dangerous on a regular basis. It's not as if desk jockeys are out fighting fires, defusing bombs or crab fishing in Alaska. But these workers do face health risks above and beyond staff meetings so boring they'd make anyone want to swallow staples one by one. Your health can be largely dependent on your environmental comfort, which is determined by whether your immediate space meets basic physical, functional and psychological needs [source: Vischer]. As we'll see in this article, the cubicle fails on all three counts.
